Technical / Back Stage/ Green Room Requirements
Technical Setup:
The preferred presentation area is a theater, stage, or area with a raised platform. For performances, audio/visual accommodations are neccessary. LCD projector w/ DVD and VHS compatability. If manipulative stage lights are not present, a portable spotlight is sufficient. The stage area should have a cordless microphone w/ stand, LCD projection screen, and podium. There should also be one body microphone available to the artist.
Pre-Performance Needs:
Five hours prior to presentation there shall be a two - hour, rehearsal with no less than one technical assistants and one stage hand. These individuals should be prepared to provide assistance for the entire rehearsal and the presentation. The technical assistants should be trained in audio/visual, lighting, and sound.
The Green room should be made available to the artist no less than two hours prior to performance. There should be a generous supply of Snapple Tea, Room Temperatured Bottled Water, and a sealed fruit tray. The room should be clean, well-lit, and have working outlets. No one should access the romm during the time frame in which the artist occupies the unit.
Promotional Activity:
Any promotional materials, interviews, newspaper articles, captions or references made to the artist, will refer to her as "Ge'ylah ". Special permission must be granted by the speaker, prior to the performance, for audio and/or video taping.. In as much, the artist shall receive two courtesy copies of audio /visual recordings. Artist reserves the right to sell “Power of the Tongue” products, which may include, but are not limited to books, T-Shirts, tapes, Cd's, post cards, and photographs. At the artist's discretion, artist may consent to interviews, question/answer segment, book signings, photographs or other reasonable promotional activity related to "Power of The Tongue". When booking a date, it is critical to notify speaker of any enhancement services.
