Technical / Back Stage/ Green Room Requirements
Technical Setup:
The preferred presentation area is a auditorium, conference room, theater w/ stage, or area with a raised platform. LCD Projector with DVD, VHS, Power Point, and audio/visual accommodations are neccessary. Presentation area should be able to accomodate viewing video footage for brief periods of time. There should be two lapel or cordless microphones w/stands available to the speakers.
Pre-Performance Needs:
No less than two hours prior to presentation there shall be a technical check with no less than one technical assistants and one stage hand. These individuals should be prepared to provide assistance for the entire check and the presentation. The technical assistants should be trained in audio/visual, lighting, and sound.
The Green room should be made available to the artist no less than two hours prior to performance. There should be a generous supply of hot water, tea, lemon, coffee, with cream and sugar, Snapple Tea, room temperatured bottled water, and a sealed fruit tray. The room should be clean, well-lit, and have working outlets. No one should access the room during the time frame in which the speakers occupy the unit.
Promotional Activity:
Any promotional materials, interviews, newspaper articles, captions or references made to the presentation will referance "The IMPACT Workshops" and the speaker as Ge'ylah Jones Bradford. Special permission must be granted by the speaker, prior to the performance, for audio and/or video taping.. In as much, the speaker shall receive two courtesy copies of audio /visual recordings. Speaker reserves the right to sell “Power of the Tongue” products, which may include, but are not limited to books, T-Shirts, tapes, Cd's, post cards, and photographs. At the speaker's discretion, artist may consent to interviews, question/answer segment, book signings, photographs or other reasonable promotional activity related to "Power of The Tongue". When booking a date, it is critical to notify speaker of any enhancement services.
