"Power of The Tongue" is an educational, inspirational, and versatile, multi-purposed presentation. Enjoyed by audiences of all ages, the "flawless" presentation may be utilized for Lyceums, Stand - Alone performances, Coffee House, King celebrations, Black History, Women's History and National Poetry Month programs. It is rooted in poems, monologues, prose pieces, soliloquies and other classic literary favorites; music and historic video footage, unless otherwise noted, undergird all presentations . January - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration
" A Report to Dr. King"
One of the most unique Dr. King presentations you'll ever witness. Ge'ylah celebrates the life and mission of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with dramatic poetry, acapella singing, an exuberant dance routine, narrative video clips, entertaining music, and an interactive skit with Dr. King, Ge'ylah, and the audience. A special promo poster with event location, time and date of performance is included.. The lterary component is comprised of works by Nikki Giovanni, Sonia Sanchez, Haki Madhubuti, Anthony J. Bradford, James Weldon Johnson, Nichole L. Shields, Gwendolyn Brooks, Mari Evans, Maya Angelou, and Ge'ylah. A " must see " event! ( 50-75 min.)
